Purchasing

How do I purchase an animal?

Browse our available animals on the Shop page. Once you find an animal you love, click "Add to Cart" or "Reserve Now" to place a deposit. After your deposit is confirmed, we'll contact you to arrange payment and delivery details.

How much is the deposit?

Deposits vary depending on the animal but are typically 25-50% of the total price. The exact deposit amount is listed on each animal's page. Deposits are non-refundable but are applied toward your total purchase price.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, PayPal, and bank transfers. For large purchases, we can also arrange payment plans. Contact us to discuss payment options.

Can I visit the ranch before purchasing?

Yes! We welcome farm visits by appointment only. Please contact us at least 48 hours in advance to schedule a visit. This gives you the opportunity to meet the animals and see our facilities firsthand.

Shipping & Delivery

Do you ship animals?

Yes, we ship to all 50 states and can arrange international shipping to select countries. We work with licensed and insured livestock transporters to ensure your animal arrives safely.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs depend on your location and the size of the animal. Ground transport typically ranges from $300-$1,500 depending on distance. We'll provide a shipping quote before you finalize your purchase.

Can I pick up my animal in person?

Absolutely! Many buyers prefer to pick up their animals directly from our ranch in Arkansas. We'll schedule a pickup time that works for both of us and have your animal ready and waiting.

How are animals transported?

Animals are transported in climate-controlled trailers with proper ventilation, bedding, and access to water. Our transport partners are experienced with livestock and make regular rest stops on longer journeys.

Health & Care

Are your animals healthy?

Yes! Every animal comes with a licensed veterinarian health certificate, complete vaccination records, and deworming history. We raise all our animals with the highest health standards and provide a health guarantee with every purchase.

What vaccinations do the animals receive?

All animals receive age-appropriate vaccinations including CD&T (for goats) and standard cattle vaccines. You'll receive complete vaccination records and a recommended schedule for future vaccinations.

What do mini cows and goats eat?

Mini cows primarily eat grass and hay, with occasional grain supplements. Goats eat hay, browse (leaves, shrubs), and goat feed. We provide detailed feeding instructions and a starter supply of their current feed with each purchase.

How much space do they need?

Mini cows need at least 1/2 to 1 acre per animal. Goats need about 200-400 square feet per goat minimum, though more space is always better. All animals need secure fencing, shelter from weather, and access to fresh water.

Do you offer support after purchase?

Yes! We provide lifetime support for all animals purchased from MiniCowsHub. Whether you have questions about feeding, health, behavior, or general care, we're always here to help.

About Our Animals

What breeds do you offer?

We specialize in Mini Highland cows, Mini Herefords, Mini Belted Galloways, and Dexter cattle. For goats, we offer Nigerian Dwarf goats, Pygmy goats, and Mini Nubians. Our inventory changes regularly, so check our Shop page for current availability.

How big do mini cows get?

Mini cows typically stand 36-42 inches tall at maturity and weigh between 500-800 pounds. This is about 1/2 to 1/3 the size of standard cattle, making them much easier to handle and care for.

Are your animals friendly?

Yes! All our animals are handled daily from birth and are well-socialized with people. They're known for their gentle temperaments and make wonderful companion animals. We select breeding stock partly based on temperament.

How long do mini cows and goats live?

With proper care, mini cows can live 18-25 years, and goats typically live 15-18 years. These are long-term companions, so please be prepared for a lasting commitment.

Do you sell breeding pairs?

Yes, we can help you select compatible breeding pairs if you're interested in starting your own small herd. Contact us to discuss your breeding goals and we'll make recommendations.

Policies

What is your refund policy?

Our health guarantee covers congenital defects and illnesses that originated from our ranch within 72 hours of arrival. Please visit our Health Guarantee page for complete details and terms.
